Different Angle

The Race Car

I just finished this painting for my Grandson, Reese.  He wanted me to paint him a picture of a race car and he was very specific that it should be green.  I chose a 1964 Corvette Sting Ray as my husband bought one when we were first married.
Now I will start Christopher's painting of his race car and he is very specific that it be red!

Latest Painting

This painting is a water colour that I have been working on for the last few months in my art class that I take every Wednesday.  Its so great as my daughter, Melissa and my grandaughter, Taylor have just started to take classes with me so I not only get to paint but I also get to spend time with them...........life is good!!
On Mondays I drive about 5 minutes down the road to my friends house and we paint in arcylic for the rest of the afternoon.  This is why suddenly I have 2 new paintings!!!  The Spring in Pt. Pelee Marsh is Arcylic.
This water colour painting is of my Dog Bruiser enjoying the water at a cottage we rented in Muskoka in 2008 when Annette was expecting and Reese is a tiny baby!

Snow Tree

Here is the lastest painting that I have been working on.  I call it the" Snow Tree."  I have been going to my friends beautiful house down the street the last 2 Monday afternoons.  She is a very good artist who does acrylic Nature paintings.  She has a cottage around North Bay and most of her paintings are from there and her house which is on 2 lovely acres near Lake Erie in Harrow.  Her downstairs is set up as a Art Studio.  She is also the Art Director for some plays done here in Kingsville.
