This 1st picture is a watercolour that Taylor did when she was about 18.  Melissa got it framed and put it on the wall of her house for all to see!  Taylor is a very good Artist don't you think?  I used to let her paint at my house when she was little.  She still paints and is even better!  The 2nd watercolour is a painting of my cottage that my husband and I had built near Kincardine, Ontario near the shores of Lake Huron.  I have many fond memories of our cottage with the kids and my husband. I have friends there and went to visit the place a few years ago!  Such sweet memories!!!

The 1st one I call my Music Swan!  He is listening to his iPod while swimming and I have him sitting near my keyboard while I practice my Piano music!  I just love how the Little Bear is scratching his back on the tree.  The last painting is from a Vintage Card that I found in my mothers scrap book.  I love this one and have framed it and I gave it to my young friend who is having her 1st baby any day now!

This is my Painted Horse.  I made use of things around the house.  His nice white Mane is from a Mop!  I ordered a few bags from this one and they turned out very nice!

This one is my Fall Colours from Muskoka!
I usually put a painting up on my covered front
porch for each season.  Melissa liked this one so
I have gladly given it to her!

Here I Am!

Hello I have not been on here for a long while so I will try and catch up.  Here is a a piece of Water Colour that I call Heaven!  This is what I would like to think Animal Heaven would look like! It took some time to do as there are a few animals to do!
I also tried out Stained Glass and did this piece that I gave to Jeff & Annette for their house for the little front window on the front porch.  I found the stained glass quite tedious and made my back and neck quite sore at the time.  I may do another project as I am feeling better.  Jeff hasn't installed this yet as the kids are always quite busy.
I have moved out of my Beach House and moved into town a few streets over from my Daughter, Melissa so that I can help them with watching Reese while they are at work.  I will post some more pictures of my latest art pieces in a few days.

Clowning Around

This picture was taken around Halloween 2013.  The boys got dressed up as clowns to scare their Uncle Craig as he is afraid of clowns!  Melissa told them to look sad and 2 are looking sad but Curtie could not keep a straight face.  I love this picture and the bright colours and I think I am getting better with the kids faces and getting it to look like them.  Sent this off to Vista Print to get some fun things made.

Little Garden Angel

This is a Garden Stone I made for a friend for her birthday.  I do a few of these every year for friends.  I have now added little note cards with each which goes into the personality of the Fairy or Angel which also mimics the person I am giving the stone to.  It is a fun and charming way to tell my friends and family what a great person they are!  I may add this to a little business so people can buy them as gifts for friends or family!  What do you think?

The Hug

This is my latest painting.  Its supposed to look like my 16 year old Grandaughter, Taylor when she was a baby.  She is holding her cat Vincent.  They are both enjoying the swing and Vincent is enjoying his HUG.

Curtis' Car Picture

This is the painting I did for Curtis for his birthday in August.  It is a Porsche and I have now done 1 for each of my grandsons for their rooms.  They seemed to get bigger for each one so I think Curtis has the biggest one.  Hope they enjoy!

Smile!

This is a happy guy!  I hope when I fall on the ice this winter as I always seem to at least once that I will smile!  Winter has come to Lake Erie early this year.  I was hoping for a winter like last year but I think we won't be so lucky.  The wind has been especially strong as part of my fence has blown over and a piece of siding on my house has buckled.  Now I have to take Wylie my Golden for walks all the time on a leash as he would run through the opening in the fence.

Nibby

This is my son Craig's Rag Doll Cat, Nibby.  He wanted me to paint her with signs.....so I found some interesting signs to go along with her.  I couldn't fit the whole painting in my scanner but there are more signs along the bottom.

Vincent

This is Vincent, my daughters Rag Doll Cat.  He is the cat most like a Dog and he is quite the character!  They are big fluffy soft cats that don't shed... kind of like rabbit fur.  The white mark down his nose is called a Blaze.  This was fun to paint just like all my animal subjects!

Wylie

This is my Dog, Wylie.  He plays with beach stones in the yard so he certainly wouldn't be holding this lovely basket of flowers.........it would be shredded but this makes a nice Spring scene!
